In a grand celebration of leadership and dedication to humanity, 𝑹𝒕. 𝑯𝒐𝒏. 𝑬𝒎𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒍 𝑼𝒌𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒈-𝑼𝒅𝒐, 𝑷𝒉𝑫, representing 𝑰𝒌𝒐𝒏𝒐/𝑰𝒏𝒊 𝑭𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚, received the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 6𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗟𝗘𝗘𝗫). Rep. Ukpong-Udo, accompanied by his wife, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗞𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗨𝗸𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘂𝗱𝗼, received this well-deserved recognition as a testament to his transformative initiatives and empowerment programs which have touched countless lives in Ikono/Ini, offering a lifeline to constituents striving for economic independence and stability.

Accepting the award, Rep. Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo expressed gratitude to the organizers of the ceremony. He acknowledged those who voted for him and, very importantly, those who supported him on his journey in public service. "I am very delighted to be here with my family and my guests. Tonight is very emotional for me, considering my journey to the 10th Assembly of the House of Representatives," Ukpong-Udo shared. "𝙄 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙫𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙. Over the years, Ukpong-Udo has gained admiration for his hands-on approach to community development, providing vital resources to fuel progress and self-reliance among his people. His initiatives include distributing essential tools for self-sufficiency—vehicles, motorcycles, tricycles, industrial sewing machines, and scholarships—as well as non-refundable business grants. These empowerment programs, valued at hundreds of millions of naira, continue to empower families and uplift local communities.

Endorsed by the African Union and the African Film Institute, LEEX, organized by IgbereTV, is a respected platform that highlights excellence in leadership and public service. The 2024 edition, chaired by former Abia State Governor, Senator T.A. Orji, featured a keynote address by former Ogun State Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, who commended award recipients for their dedication to nation-building.
