Immediate past member representing Ibiono Ibom State Constituency, Obong Godwin Ekpo has endorsed the 19 storey Ibom Tower project on the state property in Lagos to boost investment.

Hon Ekpo who commended the executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Eno for his initiative to embark on the project,
said having a magnificent structure of such in the commercial hub of Nigeria is a welcome development, as it will boost the internally generate revenue of the state, made his endorsement known in an interaction with newsmen in Uyo on Thursday.
The former lawmaker while declaring his support for the project hinted that, Governor Umo Eno is poised at leaving the state better than he met, announced the economic benefits of the 19 Storey Ibom Tower edifice to include boosting of internally generated revenue and announcing the state to investors visiting the country for the first time.

"The proposed 19 storey Ibom Tower on the state owned property in Lagos is a dream come true, as a business man i have been wondering the value of the dilapidated structures in Akwa Ibom house in Lagos and Abuja , I always have the mentality of building structures for commercial purpose since the properties are in choice locations. Today, God has used Pastor Umo Eno to proposed a befitting edifice to generate revenue for the state, I am happy for the initiative".
Hon Ekpo further added that, Real Estate business in Lagos and Abuja is one of the most sort after business in Nigeria as it value appreciates instead of depreciating, called on the peace loving people of Akwa Ibom State to support Governor Umo Eno's dream of building Ibom Tower in Lagos, explaining that, the project will attract Investors to the state.
While drumming his support for the ARISE Agenda, he thanked Governor Eno for the numerous life touching projects his administration has embarked upon, including rural development, youths empowerment, agricultural renaissance, roads infrastructure and reuniting the state for peaceful co- existence which has redefined governance.
" The governor has done so well within his one year plus on the saddle, his grass root development is topnotch, youths empowerment, investment in the Agricultural sector, giving life line to the widows through building of shelters across the state and unifying the state are highly commendable".
The former Assembly member also called on the sons and daughters of the state to support the governors lofty ideas and criticize constructively .
