Nsit Ibom Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Women Leaders, Ward Vice Chairmen, and Akwa Ibom Female Youths (Lemon and Purple), from Nsit Ibom extraction have received the sum of two million naira, from the Member representing the Constituency in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Eric Akpan.
Hon. Akpan extended his milk of kindness to this group of women during the official commissioning of special projects in Nsit Ibom Local Government Area by the Wife of the State Governor, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.

In his remarks at the occasion, he lauded the selfless sacrifices, commitment, and loyalty of the women during the last concluded elections that culminated in the overwhelming success of the PDP at the polls.

The Nsit Ibom Lawmaker pledged his continuous support to the Nsit Ibom people as well as giving effective representation to his people at the state legislature.
Hon. Akpan appreciated the Wife of the Governor for giving succour to the widows, multiple birth families, and other vulnerable persons in the state.
He prayed to God for more grace to further make life worth living for the downtrodden members of our society.
Projects commissioned by the wife of the Governor were initiated by Nsit Ibom Council Chairman, Hon. Oto Aaron.
The projects were; a 2-bedroom bungalow for a widow at Ikot Obio Etan and the renovated/equipped Primary Healthcare Centre at Mbiaso Ward V.
Hon. Akpan was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. NsikakAbasi Eric Akpan, while Female Lawmakers in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and other prominent Akwa Ibom women were in attendance to grace the occasion.
