The Governor noted that the services rendered by the different security outfits are very critical to the peace currently enjoyed in the state, adding that the government will do everything possible to take care of their welfare and support their operations.

Responding on behalf of the families, the Commander 2 Brigade, Brigadier General KE Chigbu, appreciated Governor Eno for the kind gesture which he said will serve as a morale booster for the officers and men.

According to him, "I lack words to express our gratitude. This is clearly a stepping stone for the military in the state. You have demonstrated that we are not alone, and we will redouble our efforts, knowing that our efforts and services are recognized and appreciated."
