Speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Udeme Otong has announced names of principal officers from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Speaker announced member representing ONNA State Constituency, Hon Sunday Johnny (PDP) as the Leader, while Rt. Hon Oto Bob (PDP) Nsit Ubium state Constituency will serve as Deputy Leader.
Other officers include; Rt. Hon. Chief Effiong E Johnson (Mbo), Chief Whip, Hon. Sampson Idiong (Oruk Anam) Deputy Chief Whip.
Meanwhile, the Speaker has constituted 12-man selection committee for the selection of committee members, with the Speaker has Chairman and Prince Attah has Secretary.
Members of the Committe include the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Kufreabasi Edidem (Itu), Rt. Hon. Asuquo Udo (Ikono), Rt. Hon. Mfon Idung (Ika/Etim Ekpo), Hon. Uwem Imoh-Ita (Mkpat Enin), Hon. Emem Udom (Ukanafun) and Hon. Uduak Ekpo-ufot (Etinan).
Others are Hon. Selina Ukpatu (Ikot Abasi /Eastern Obolo), Hon. Jerry Otu (Ikot Ekpene/Obot Akara), Hon. Bassey Pius (Okobo) and Rt. Hon. Effiong Johnson (Mbo).
